Spectacular falls but be prepared for a long walk. There are two main viewing points within a short walk. From Foyers village you have the advantage of walking downhill to the viewing points, after that you can continue all the way down to the Loch. Great waterfall that goes straight to loch ness, theres steps going down to it and a viewing area to take pictures then you can walk further down to another viewing platform. Absolutely loved it. The waterfall is really beautiful. If you will lucky enough you can also spot cheeky squirrels hiding around, fabulous walk around the area!
We made an ad-hoc stop to see this waterfall at my Daughters request. Once you get down all the steps and slopes it's a lovely sight but don't forget you have to get back up!! Plenty of places to have a breather on the way back so don't worry.
From the main road you can either do a short walk to the falls, or a longer one through the woods along the river to the loch. The short walk to the falls is quite steep with lots of steps but perfectly safe and doable, once you get to the falls it's stunning.
A short and beautiful walk through the forest to the waterfall was very much enjoyed by all this halfterm. The weather helped but I'm sure it's as lovely in any weather. Well worth a stop.
