A short and beautiful walk through the forest to the waterfall was very much enjoyed by all this halfterm. The weather helped but I'm sure it's as lovely in any weather. Well worth a stop. Driving around Loch Ness is a scenic drive often, but as anywhere to get a fuller experience you cannot beat a walk. We stopped at the Falls of Foyers as there a car park and café there. Its a long walk down and remember that as far down as you go, its the same distance back up again! The pathway... 更多
We walked from the edge of Loch Ness up through the village and forest to the falls. There are some good views of the village and the falls along the well marked tracks. There is a pub come restaurant at the top of the walk to cool ones thirst.

On our way down Loch Ness you come across the Falls of Foyers. Car park and café on the road before you descend quite a steep path descent to two levels of the falls. Well worth the climb back up afterwards.
Location is just off the main road at Foyers. Steep climb down stairs but well constructed and easy to get down. The falls themselves are magnificent. There are a few falls down the path. The scenery on route down is breath taking.

What you see is amazing...called the Foyers Effect......it's a treat! So are the yummy cakes served at... 更多
