Absolutely loved it. The waterfall is really beautiful. If you will lucky enough you can also spot cheeky squirrels hiding around, fabulous walk around the area!
We made an ad-hoc stop to see this waterfall at my Daughters request. Once you get down all the steps and slopes it's a lovely sight but don't forget you have to get back up!! Plenty of places to have a breather on the way back so don't worry.
From the main road you can either do a short walk to the falls, or a longer one through the woods along the river to the loch. The short walk to the falls is quite steep with lots of steps but perfectly safe and doable, once you get to the falls it's stunning.
A short and beautiful walk through the forest to the waterfall was very much enjoyed by all this halfterm. The weather helped but I'm sure it's as lovely in any weather. Well worth a stop. Driving around Loch Ness is a scenic drive often, but as anywhere to get a fuller experience you cannot beat a walk. We stopped at the Falls of Foyers as there a car park and café there. We walked from the edge of Loch Ness up through the village and forest to the falls. There are some good views of the village and the falls along the well marked tracks. There is a pub come restaurant at the top of the walk to cool ones thirst.
