This is a beautiful waterfall and although you have to negotiate a pretty steep hill to get to it the paths are well maintained and the distance short. My mum has had a knee replacement so is pretty unstable on hills but managed the walk easily, albeit cautiously. For those more capable once you've seen the waterfall there are plenty... 更多
What a lovely location, we went with two children age 10 and 11 and they really enjoyed it, we walked all the way down to loch Ness and had our picnic on the shore, not a sole to be seen down there, the waterfall was so pretty, truly stunning place, well worth a vist.
The weather was gorgeous when we stopped to have a look at the falls. Steps down to 2 viewing platforms and another route to Lower Foyers if you wish to follow that route as well. We did not take that route down but walked across the wooden bridge which gives you some lovely views over the valley. After the hike... 更多
We stopped on a whim on the way back from elsewhere and I am so glad we did. The walk down was fantastic. The sights, the sounds amazing. Once we reached the falls it looked gorgeous weather held out just until we started the hike back up. Had the best 2 night stop over! We've caught some magnificent photos.
Parking across the road and a quick hike to the falls was worth it Easily accessible for all ages. also excellent opportunity for pictures Nice general store and café across the road to grab a bite to eat or something to drink
Absolutely amazing waterfall, you must be fit for this though! there are steps that go down to 2 viewing platforms. I should have stopped at viewing platform 1, but ventured down to the second-going down is fine -coming back up is the struggle if you are not fit! Although it was well worth it as nature is beautiful and free!
We would highly recommend a visit to the Falls. Stunning scenery and a beautiful woodland walk with red squirrels thrown in if you're lucky. Definitely not wheelchair accessible, great dog walking route but be careful near the edges if your dogs fast and curious.
We hired a car and drove around the Lake Loch Ness. One of the trip advisor reviewers recommended this stop and it was indeed the best place we saw. The Falls of Foyers is a place of stunning natural beauty. A very well organised forest trail will lead you to the falls that have inspired poets and painters. The other... 更多
It's so easy to access Foyers Falls. You simply park in the car park and cross the road and follow the signs along the steps. We love waterfalls and this one is a beaut! It is quite a descent, with lots of steps to get there. There are many other walks leading off to go and explore further, which I... 更多
It is well sign posted and we used the google map as sat nav. Please note that it can be poor mobile signal in the highlands so relying on mobile for sat nav can be risky. We had a separate TOmTom sat nav as backup. The roads leading to the falls is narrow and can be driven fast so take... 更多
