Smoo Cave is one of those places that looks as good in reality, as it does in travel magazine photographs. We were blown away by the beauty of this place, it must not be missed on a trip to the Durness area. We did the boat trip which was run by a very enthusiastic man called Colin who's knowledge of... 更多
Lovely sea cave and quite easy to reach if you don't have any mobility issues. Well maintained steps to get to it but of course a steep climb back up. The waterfall is well worth seeing but difficult to photograph due to so little light, you will need a fairly good camera to get anything worth looking at.
Went to visit this at the time stated as having boat ride. Unfortunately although there was lots of other visitors there was no sign of the tour guide. We did try the numbers advertised to get in touch but to no avail. The caves are well worth a visit however.
a short walk down from the road you enter the cave. you can't get too far into the caves because of the water but the cave water fall is great to see. Car parking and toilets are available
Beautiful cave with a fall in it. Certainly worth the visit! At creatie times a day 'Caveman' does tours in the cave (when the weather is right).
Definitely worth a visit, loved this place. Well worth the long but beautiful trip up. Stunning walk and views along the cliffs above the cave. The cave itself was a wonderful sight. Unfortunately we couldn't find the boat man, would have loved a trip further in.
Worth going to see for lovely views and the natural beauty of the cave. It isn't big and definitely not accessible for anyone with any kind of mobility issues but would recommend if this doesn't pose a challenge
We found our way down the many steps and gazed in wonderment at the cavernous space which surrounded us. The inner cave was even more stunning and had a waterfall coming into it.it is astounding to see what the consisten pressure of water can do over a long period of time. There were information boards to give you the full... 更多
