For plant enthusiasts this is a good place to visit. Appeals to all ages with loads of places for children to run around. Some Outlander scenes were filmed here . No restaurants but a small shop selling a few trinkets and some sweets.
although not the best time of the year to visit we still found it interesting, Would love to see it in the summer when all the flowers were in bloom. You could definitely spend a full day there
A lovely formal garden to stroll around with the background of a castle. Worth a stop and walk around and imagine years gone by. Friendly staff and small shop. Access for disabled people from the walled garden.
Well worth the visit. It was stunning weather the day we visited which helped too. The long drive up is even spectacular and I could easily imagine the horse and carriages trotting up the drive. The symmetry of the gardens is amazing, we spent a good couple of hours just slowly enjoying our walk and our 6 year old had... 更多
Absolutely breathtaking! We decided to visit the gardens (was free to HHA members) but weren't expecting to see thIs absolutely beautiful spectacle. The castle was set high on a hill and below a steep bank was the most well planned and laid out garden - from designer hedges, to beautiful trees in all their autumn splendour, this was a truly... 更多
The gardens are close to Crieff and you turn into the grounds through a very narrow entrance and then along a one way narrow road which seems to go on forever - c 1mile+ at a guess and which must be a challenge in inclement weather. There is a large car park with toilets in a chalet type building but... 更多
Living in England I've been visiting Perthshire all my life on holiday, but for some reason never made it to Drummond Gardens. Taking advantage of the Gardeners' World 2-4-1 offer we decided to spend the afternoon there, and boy, what a good decision that was. Like some other reviewers, I'm not normally into formality, but these gardens are just breathtaking.... 更多
the sweeping tree lined drive takes you to the carpark next to the house. Sadly the house is not open to the public but thank you for letting the public view the stunning gardens.its well worth the £5 each. A must see. A tea room would be the perfect end to a day here. highly recommend.
Not usually a fan of formal gardens but Drummond Gardens are stunning. The view from the terrace is terrific. We visited in early October - very peaceful and relaxing. We liked the fact that it didn't seem to be a 'commercial venture', simply beautiful gardens.
Lovely formal gardens laid out below Drummond Castle. The castle is not open to visitors but you can walk the gardens at your leisure.
