This historic working mill sits in the wonderful countryside of East Lothian. I visited on a bike ride with a friend. We enjoyed a tour that took 30 minutes with very knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff. Lots of history and innovation to be seen in a setting that reminds me of the sets from a Harry Potter movie. Visited here today ( 7 / 7 / 2016 ) and found this a very old mill dating back to 1`6th century .Guide was very infomative . It amazes you how by turning a paddle wheel all the machinery works the whole mill . Worth a visit
Small but interesting place to visit near East Linton village. It's a lovely area with plenty of walks nearby. We had a very informative tour of the mill and kiln them walked to the doocot as part of a small circular walk. Well worth a visit.
