Lovely day out here yesterday.lots of long walks and nice play areas for children.staff were all very friendly especially in the kiosk and cafe. Food fairly reasonably priced but will take a picnic next time. Only criticism!!! Not enough toilets!!

First time I've been here although I live just 15 miles away! Amazed at the extensive grounds and the fact that to go and walk around the grounds is free. Free parking as well. Will go back when it's less busy ...choice was limited due to hordes who got there before us. The baking we had was very good though not what we were after (hot food)

Absolutely amazing in every way... one is taken to see a fantastic major restoration project of a 2000 acre estate saved for the nation. Thought this was a good deal on tickets for a really informative tour and a look at some totally unique Chippendale furniture, art and gardens.

Our knowledgeable guide spoke effortlessly giving facts, dates, prices of valuable furniture, family history during the one hour tour of the house - but did so in an entertaining and enticing way.
