We visited here on a day out in Newton Abbot. Free admission and a free car park. You can observe glass blowing and see a range of high quality glass products with items on sale. There is a marble and pottery museum and some fantastic courses for rolling marbles down. There are so many different designs. Good place to visit.
House of Marbles actually seemed to be more adult orientated rather than children. Huge plus points included free parking and free entry to the Marbles Museum, Glass Blowing and the Pottery Museum. The mechanical moving marble runs were amazing, especially the massive one on the stairs to the 1st floor. The museums were small, but informative and the Glass Blowing... 更多
What a fantastic place, the marble run is out of this world, and you could watch this for hours. To be able to see the way that the glass blowers handle such delicate material, and at such high temperature is an education. This is a must for any tourist, and I would go time and time again.
In all honesty we only went to the House of Marbles as it was a wet and windy day and we had read a review saying that it was worth a visit. What a surprise and who Knew that marbles could be so fascinating. There was a glass blowing demo and we were able to watch the marbles being made and all... 更多
We pop to Devon once a year and we always pop into the House of Marbles. It's not just a shop ( even though we buy from there each year) , there is also a lovely restaurant which serves fantastic food at good prices by lovely friendly staff. They do an amazing Mac and cheese ( which if you ask... 更多
Marble runs of all sizes even a big 2 upstairs kids spend hours watching these. Loads of things to look at. Outdoor play area but be careful when wet as my little 1 slipped and banged his head hard resulting in a trip to ane. Staff aren't first aid trained so no 1 could help me I had to do... 更多

Lots of things to keep you occupied. A glass making site where you can watch glass making. Great items on display and for sale, but a bit too expensive for me. A pottery museum and marbel museum. Great marbel lifting machines for the kids and one really large on on stairway.
