Highest point around Knoxville (Knox County) this is one big mountain. There is a nice parking area (with restrooms!) to start and end your hike. Nice views.
This is a great place to hike near Knoxville. Knoxville is really close to the Smoky Mountains so if you have all day, it might be better to make the longer drive. This trail was surprising tough. It's a lot of fun, but not as easy as it looks (unless you're a pro hiker and do it all the time). Definitely wear tennis shoes or hiking shoes; I wouldn't recommend wearing anything else.
