Stopped at this winery on the way home from Gatlinburg. The wine was very good but the staff wasn't very helpful and acted like we were bothering them. There were older ladies to busy talking to each other to help us. Would of bought some wine if we were waited on.
I have to admit, I had high expectations of this winery, so perhaps it's natural I was disappointed. The wines are of course wonderful; I came to buy, and I did. But having experienced some other tastings, I just felt the staff wasn't that knowledgeable or even interested in the people there, it was just ... pour them a shot... 更多
Stonehaus has several delicious wines, so you won't be disappointed. Just off the interstate, this makes a nice stop. What I especially enjoyed this time was the addition of several wines that contributed to local entities, especially the Cumberland County Playhouse. Whether you like reds, whites - sweet or dry, you will find something delightful here. The staff is friendly... 更多
We stopped while traveling through. The wine was great and the shopping even better. Staff were great at the tasting bar and shop. Will certainly stop in again when driving through.
This winery had a great atmosphere, wide selection, nice gift shop, and offered tasting for a great price. The staff were very friendly and knowledgable! Have lived the wine for years, but this was my first time to visit. Would recommend for anyone who wants a nice, enjoyable experience.
Stonehaus Winery is a nice drive up the Cumberland Plateau. About 30 min east of Cookeville, just of highway I-40. Part of the Upper Cumberland Wine Trail produces a wide variety of wines. We really enjoyed the Orange Mist and Raspberry Mist, but best of all was the Cumberland Gold! If you the aroma of ripened Peaches you need to... 更多
Not much on atmosphere but very good wine & cheese. Did the wine tasting and they have a lovely staff it's just basically a strip mall so not real sure how they get much business other than having good wine. Wish I had bought sober bottle of the Lantana White.
Free wine tasting of 7 different wines. Their wine is of the sweeter variety but most were delicious. There is also a store attached with many varieties of fudge, cheeses, and other items. There is also an antique store right next door....not bad.
Our friends came in from Chicago and we decided to visit a few winery's while they were in town. We went about mid morning and were there for approximately 90 minutes. You are able to sample seven wines on the list they give you. The lady at the counter was very professional, but not all that friendly. We also walked... 更多
