There have been problems here but that was about a year ago...I have seen or heard of anything lately. Now having said that this is a great area of Chattanooga. My grandson, nieces and nephews love the Carousel. It's especially nice in the spring, summer when it's not too hot and fall. Kids do like playing in the water especially... 更多
Whether you are beginning a row on the river or a walk beside it, Coolidge Park is a great starting and ending point to your journey. Plenty of parking. Plenty of lawn. Plenty spectacular scenery. This place has it all. Enjoy a day in the sun!
A beautiful local area in our city. Many activities year round. Easter egg hunt, Halloween treats, concerts by the river, fireworks, Riverbend in June, water works during the summer for the children. Tourists can really plan a trip year round in this area!!
It's a great place to walk around and get outside. there is a few things to do and many great places to people watch. We liked standing on the public bridge to people watch!
Beautiful views of Downtown. Great recreation area. For soccer, picnic, pictures, or just enjoying the area. We love the indoor Carousel. It is 1.00/per child for Admission. You can't beat that! Ages 2 and up can ride without their parent/ if you see suitable. Beautiful old Carousel. Highly recommend! In the warmer months they have a area with large whimsical... 更多
Great photo-ops with the river-walk, the walking bridge, and the carousel. You'll see a lot of Chattanooga's professional photographer's doing informal shoots out here (like engagement photos and whatnot). Very family oriented, and close to coffee shops and restaurants. *Parking requires money certain days and hours.
We spent an afternoon strolling around the park. It was an absolutely beautiful day! The park is well maintained and full of people enjoying the space.
We visited in the fall, so the water fountains weren't on, but we visited the restored Carousel. Nice job. If you brought children they would love it. Riding it, plus looking at all the colorful animals. The park also has statues, picnic areas, walking paths and it's right along the river.
