Lovely and quiet Civil War site. Informative too. GREAT National Park Service staff at the local office. And the views are amazing.
I love nature, so this is one of my favorite places to visit. I could sit there for hours & admire all of the beauty & just take in all of the great open space!
This is a seriously good place to visit, especially by using the old Incline Railway. The trip up on the railway is very unusual and positively exciting, an experience in itself that is well worth the money. The views whilst travelling are limited by the trees, but that only makes the aspect from the viewing levels at the top all... 更多
it is only 15 minutes from the interstate and although the road going up is like a narrow rattlesnake it was a awesome view and the homes around this area are gorgeous. Lots of them are for sale if anyone is looking lol...Ruby Falls looked interesting but, was on a dog rescue so no time to check it out. The... 更多
this place is huge!!! The rocks wind around through trails and bridges. There's quite a few photo spots. After winding through the rock trail and seeing the waterfall and the seven cities you come across a cave. The inside is such a surprise
The area was beautiful and the site is a must see; really enjoyed walking through the attraction. Very friendly staff.
The Americans know how to preserve their history and Lookout Mountain is no exception.A group of us,29 Civil War enthusiasts on a ten day tour, were amazed how the southern defenders were able to manhandle their cannons up this mountain.
loved going to Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church...it was gorgeous. The church is stone with beautiful stained glass windows. The singing was wonderful and the pastor had a superb message. I love the fact that many young families attend there.
I've heard about this place but never knew where it was. I was visiting a friend & he wanted to go check it out. It was $20 per adult & I think it was worth it. The view from lovers leap was awesome.
Admittedly I went for the views, but the attraction itself is very, very kitschy. I am still trying to figure out why there was so much fairy tale stuff there -- including a large black lit room with dozens of scenes from every fairytale you remember (and many you don't). I am not sorry we went; but it's definitely not... 更多
After years of seeing the signs for Rock City, we finally made the stop at the top of Lookout Mountain a couple of weeks ago! Well worth the trip - spectacular views of the valley below! Be prepared for a lot of climbing up and down stairs!!
This attraction is well worth visiting, the ride up to the top was really good and comfortable even a bit scary. But the view from the top is really amazing, if anybody is not impressed with that well I just give up. Staff really pleasant and friendly.
