This was a great surprise as it connects with Americana in so many different ways. I will never look at a tow truck the same way again. Have I ever thought about who created the first wrecker? It was the Ernest Holmes Co. in Chattanoga around 1916. Auto, military, and toy enthusiasts will find an interesting collection of vintage vehicles... 更多
I actually arranged a visit to this museum because I thought my husband would enjoy it. I was pleasantly surprised that I found it as interesting as he did. Lots of history and interesting information.
Excellent museum. Everything is kept clean and current. Exceptional staff which provided any and all assistance including answering my specific questions and listening to my ideas to help tell their story. Displays do an excellent job of telling the story of this unique and important part of the automotive industry.
I saw this place advertised so thought I would have a look. Reasonable entry fee, very interesting and lots to look at. Recommended to anyone in this field, otherwise it wouldn't be of too much interest.
Hall of Fame where owners and employees have been recognized for their contributions to the towing industry. Tow trucks progress through time.Outside the Wall of the Fallen.

It really puts what these folks do on a daily basis along with the danger into perspective for those not associated with it. My big kid enjoyed the smaller... 更多
