We were the first ones there, so it was a private tour. The caverns were very interesting. Lots of different formations throughout and the river was pretty cool. Our four year old son liked everything hanging from the ceiling. The stairs are a little difficult to maneuver, especially for small kids, so be prepared to carry your toddler at certain... 更多
We were on our way home from NY and wanted to add Tennessee to states of travel. Bristol offered these caverns as an attraction, pleasant staff and guides. A bit old school in respect to it not being as mainstream as others. Railings and steps, doors and trails still in original conditions. The pluses, no mood lighting or music to... 更多
The cavern/cave was amazing but we learned nothing about it. Our guide maybe said 30 words the entire tour. The point of a guided tour in my opinion is to be informed. We did not get that at all. It was a race weekend and a larger crowd but for $15 I expected more.
I took my two 5 year olds and 3 year old to see the caverns. They had a great time and said it was 'awesome'. We bought them the hats in the store that had the headlamps on it and I think it made their trip all the better - they really felt like they were scouting out the cave!... 更多
So as a person with geology degree (full disclosure this does NOT make me a geologist) perhaps the tour guides may benefit from telling people a bit more about the cave science than made up names for the formations. For a SOLID HOUR. That said, this is probably one of the most beautiful caves I've ever been in, and our... 更多
It was a short ok type of activity. Shorter then expected. Dkwn the road you will find Appalachian Caverns. I found it to be a longer more interesting tour. They also offer different out of the ordinary tours. Call ahead and schedule tho.. You can put coveralls on and crawl through the crevices and it's actually more exciting and better... 更多
One of the nicer caverns we've visited in the area. Unlike some, this is a live cavern with formations still growing. See it now and come back in a couple hundred years to see the growth! Recommend!
Went to the Caverns on a Monday, very easy to get to and plenty of parking. Plan on spending at least an hour. This is a guided tour so you may have to wait for the next tour, we waited about 10 minutes. There was lots of walking of course and some stairs that weren't a problem for us but... 更多
We decided to have a family fun day, but it was so hot, so we found Bristol Caverns. It was so much fun. Even my 4 year old liked it, plus it was a cool 60 degrees inside while in the 90's out. A lot of history there. Thank you Bristol Caverns!!
