Well, I will start off that our instructor had a sense of humor and sarcasm that was on point. I was very surprised at the knowledge and love of his job. If you are looking for something to do, and do not want to spend a lot of money, this is the spot.
When you are on your way to the cave you will ask yourself many times if you are going in the right direction and does it even exist...the answer is yes. Just keep on keepin on and you'll find the turn. About 2 miles down a very drivable dirt road (I have a little Altima and it was fine). Once... 更多
I took my 3 and 4 year old daughters here this week and we had a blast. Follow the signs and have faith that you will arrive at the cave eventually! I was about to turn around, thinking maybe it was a hoax! But sure enough, we did make it there! The staff were super friendly, and it was only... 更多
This is a great attraction. We enjoyed it very much, our tour guide was really informative. There are quite a few steps to go up/down, its best to go in a small group as space is tight in some spots.
A group of 11 motercycle riders decided to check out the Wonderland Caves during a Sturgis trip. We were not sure what it would be but were up for the task. John was our tour guide and resident Cave expert. Not only did he make it interesting but he really made it fun. We all laughed at his wit and... 更多
Perfect stop on a really hot day. We were on motorcycles and there was a gravel road into the caves but it's hard packed gravel so no difficulty getting in. The tour guide was a young man who was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The cave itself is quite large with lots of features to view. There are quite a few... 更多
A little pricey at appr. 15 bucks per person but very interesting. Preston is a great young man and outstanding tour guide! Saw very cool things. A couple notes, bring a jacket if you get cold easy. You'll be in the cave for appr. 45 minutes, it's 47 degrees year round in there. There are appr. 200 stairs between the... 更多
Cute cave. Waaaaay out there. Path down had a bunch of stairs. Tour went in a large circle. Guide Dalton was pretty entertaining. Started with our own tour and 15 people joined so we had to wait for another 10 minutes to enter cave. Tour was good. Had to duck a few times and unlike other mines in the area... 更多
We recently took our two small granddaughters (5 and 7) to Wonderland Cave. At first they expected the cave to be like the haunted house they visited last Halloween. We told them it would be nothing like that. They had no frame of reference to caves whatsoever. Now, they understand what caves are all about. The tour was about the... 更多
