We are from Texas, and are very familiar with a chuck wagon experience. The food was absolutely awful. Baked potato with butter only, beef that had been drowned in water, chicken was something I could have made in the microwave, and the biscuit and spice cake were hard and looked as if they had been sitting all day long. No... 更多
We wanted to do this on our trip to the Black HIlls. Food was pretty good. You sit at large picnic tables with everyone, so we met some nice fellow travelers too. The show afterward was mostly music, kind of fun. Starts with a 'shoot out' which the kids enjoy and can become part of the storyline. A bit spendy... 更多
Let me start by saying that I really enjoy going to chuckwagon dinners and shows as you can see in other reviews I have done. This one was absolutely the worse experience imaginable. Let's start from the beginning, they advertise free pony rides for the kids. Since we were taking our grandkids we chose this place over the other one... 更多
It was terrible. The food at the chuck wagon was one small piece of hard, dry chicken for those getting the chicken. There advertised pony rides. They didn't say that they only had one pony and it had died. What a joke. We live in Montana and this is nothing more than a tourist trap.
Went here in early June. The people are very accommodating, and very informative. The meal was good. The entertainment was excellent. I recommend the beef dinner if you like beef. It is very tender, and there seemed to be more than with the chicken. I had lots of lemonade refills. My wife and grand kids had a great time, score!!
We absolutely loved this Chuckwagon dinner. There are a ton of fun activities for little kids before the dinner, including a shooting gallery, panning for gold, and saddles and ropes to practice roping cattle horns. Right before you go inside for supper, the Sherriff deputizes all the kiddies to form a posse and go after the Biscuit Bandit. There is... 更多
Circle B Ranch and Chuckwagon is a true classic if there ever was one. If you are looking for glitz and glitter with a high pace feel you come to the wrong place. This is a place to Play with your kids and show them some old time fun and enjoy a relaxing evening where you can feel safe with... 更多
While a bit hard to find, it was worth it! I happen to love fiddle music and boy could that man play it!! The whole show was fantastic with all the western music, some of which I even knew. It was a little boring for my 12 yr old grandson at first, but once they really got into it, even... 更多
We took our 3 grandchildren there. We all had chicken. Thought it would of been grilled, a quarter chicken was our thought but it is small frozen chicken breasts put in a nesco with bbq sauce. 2 out of 5 of us had pieces that were rubber. Beans are cold, you get a baked potato and applesauce too. A biscuit... 更多
If you're looking for that old West type thing, the Circle B Chuckwagon gives you that experience. I brought my family of four (girls ages 10 and 13) + my mother in law for our final evening in the Black Hills. They recommended you to get there 1.5 hours prior to dinner. Trust me, you don't need to get there... 更多
