Flowers bloomed early so on our early March visit the azaleas were in full bloom. Sculpture gardens are unique and offer an area to stroll around. not a large park but good for those who cant walk far- still allows them a chance to take it all in.
This is a good park for a stroll. The ponds and sculptures are nice, but don't hold a child's attention for long. My son was a bit disappointed that there wasn't a true play structure in the park.
The park is really cute. Lots of gazebos and benches and swings for sitting and reflecting and admiring the foliage, there is also a little pond with turtles that is at the center. Lots of photo opportunities. The park is located on Magnolia and North 4th Avenue in Summerville just like the directions say. There is parking available, however it... 更多
We stopped on our way to Mt. Pleasant. The azaleas were early and most of them were blooming already! Beautiful place to walk around or sit and enjoy nature. Be sure to visit both sides of the street!!
I go here often. The flowers, statuary, paths and trees are incredible. It is a beautiful place to meander on the walking trails or just sit and enjoy.
I've passed by the park many times in the year we have lived in Summerville but didn't actually stop to walk in it until this fall. It's a nice little park for a walk...wasn't very busy while we were there. Pretty scenery. Only bad part is that the park is divided by Main Street which is usually quite busy
Growing up in Summerville, Azalea Park is the first thing that comes to mind. I hung out there with friends often as a teenager, I met my husband there, we take family photos there every year. It's a gorgeous park, especially in the spring, perfect for photo shoots and weddings, a romantic stroll or picnic. My son LOVES the turtles... 更多
We'd passed by here many times before we finally stopped and explored one day after an early dinner. Love it here. Beautiful landscaping, cute sculptures and the grounds were very well kept-up. Saw lots of people out Pokemon hunting, which was entertaining. Would love to go back one day.
We enjoy coming here to walk around and my kids love the sculptures and seeing the turtles and fish in the ponds. It's a beautiful garden with great walking paths.
