I concur with pharmcat56 review! This is an amazing, but difficult hike. My husband read somewhere that it it the most strenuous hike in SC! Some sections feel like you are walking up flights and flights of stairs! Other parts are true mountain climbs! It took the two of us about 4.25 hours to go up, take a few breaks,... 更多
Swimming, boating, camping, hiking, this place has it all. If the other parks are full you can almost always get in here. A lot of parking and really nice trails. Go and have fun. Close to Greenville and other places. Cheers!!!
Beautiful views, we did carrick creek and most of table rock trail. It was busy on labor day weekend. Ver clean facilities, friendly staff. We loved white oak campground for our tent camping.
A beautiful park with great trails, beautiful views and fun activities. Bring a picnic, your camper or rent a cabin. But explore every inch!! The only downer is the increase in entry fees implemented in the last few years! But, there are occasional events that waive the entry fee, like the monthly bluegrass jams held at the Lodge.
Table Rock is a great place to visit! Cold water in the creeks or swimming area make it a nice way to cool off after a hike to the top. Moderate to hard hike to the top & you need to be prepared if you want to hike all the way to top. Water, comfortable hiking boots, and snacks will... 更多
Hiked Table Rock Trail with my kids 17, 8 and 7. It is a challenging hike but absolutely beautiful. It is one of my favorites and I have done a lot of hikes. It is quite challenging, I would not recommend this as a starter hike for children but if they are normally active and you take breaks you will... 更多
Love all state parks. Have spent many vacations here and even enjoy their cabins. I enjoy all seasons as well. There is swimming, fishing and hicking in summer. Breath taking views both summer and winter. Leaf color change as rewarding as our Blue Ridge Parkway trips. Many more visit in store.
The park has some nice cabins and a large lake where you can swim while being watched by a lifeguard. Lots of quality picnic areas. If you like hiking, this is a good place to do it. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for kids.
Amazing how much fun 5 kids can have on a diving board. We hiked, went on a night paddle at sunset (highly recommended), fished, played in the rec hall, took out paddle boats, etc. There was never so much excitement though than when the kids first saw the diving boards in the swim area. Really great. The country store has... 更多
