Hid a geocaching there once, but the groundskeepers must have removed the cache. Anyway, a quite place off a busy business Hwy 17 to take a few moments to contemplate life and death and the sea.
We stumbled upon this place while touring through Murrell's Inlet, and were pleasantly surprised. This little place has evolved over recent years. Monument and sculpture here but is easy to miss. I would come to the nearby restaurant and after dinner wander down their backyard to the marsh to catch a glimpse of the sunset and tide. Best place to get some pictures. The monument is a heartfelt reminder of those lost at sea.... 更多
We visited here twice on our recent vacation: first when we were eating dinner next door to it and then again when we wanted to let the kids see the inlet at low tide. It is really beautiful and the views are phenomenal. The memorial is very touching and beautiful. However, the trash in the inlet is not a pretty... 更多
