This is a small park or large walk way. The view is what I have experienced the most. If you like to cast a line , this is also a good place to do so. Never crowded. A very good family outing . Great for small kids!
Beautiful bridge! Great views! I got a little freaked out when I drove over it the first time because it is so huge. (Bridges scare me somewhat when I am the driver!) The view of it from our hotel was just gorgeous. Wish it was lit up more at night because it would have made a great picture!
The Pitt Street Bridge is a great spot for an after dinner stroll, if you are in the Mount Pleasant area. The walking path and fishing pier are nice for families. The bridge offers great views of the Ravenel Bridge, as well as lovely views of the marsh and Sullivan's Island.
We were at a function this day, and saw where the old bridge causeway was once. The little strip of land goes out into the Charleston Harbor, giving you an uninterrupted view of the harbor and the Ft. Sumter. Great place to walk and enjoy the breeze. Lots of folks running and leisure walking their dogs.
Just a nice and interesting walk along an historic pathway once used for a trolley from Mt. Pleasant to Sullivans Island. It is paved, has grassy areas, benches for sitting and eventually the remains of the bridge over a inlet to Sullivans. You can fish off the pathway and the bridge; it provides a relaxing and uncrowded respite with water... 更多
This is one of my favorite places in Mount Pleasant. I don't live there anymore, but whenever I visit I try to stop by. I was in town recently with my husband and we strolled down the bridge. It was around sunset, so you can get some gorgeous photos of the bridge, marsh, etc. It's great for people-watching, too.
A great place to take a walk as they have a walking/running route along the bridge. Make sure you bring a camera. I would recommend an early morning walk/run as it gets hot early.
