We visited on a lovely autumn day and thoroughly enjoyed the serene setting and photos we took. You only need to spend about a half hour here (but could spend more time walking the area) and it's well worth the stop!
This is a popular bridge with professional photographers.
Besides that, this a nice attraction. Covered bridges are just amazing! It is located in a beautiful area. Make sure you read all the signs to understand the history behind it.
I discount the park is a true gem of preservation for South Carolina history. The setting is very quiet and there is plenty of room to relax under the shade of trees and listen to the river as it runs through the stones. If you're looking for great pictures try to get there before noon and you'll catch the sun...
