I've wanted to visit this place for years. We were the only ones on the property. The trails were self guided and well maintained, clearly marked with the names of trees and plants. It is a small area but sadly, you can never be free of the local traffic noise. It is nice to know this area will always be... 更多
The Newhall Audubon Nature Preserve was a nice and quiet sanctuary to take a long walk. We enjoyed that the plants/shrubs/trees were marked being from Kentucky we saw several plants that we have at home and others we did not. The day we were there the little pond was full of baby turtles and it was cute to watch them... 更多

Look for a brown landmark sign on the right when... 更多

Lovely nature preserve mid island offering a quiet respite from the more congested areas of HH. Worth an hour to stroll their paths and sit by the pond. No charge.
