The Sandbox was a great, little place to the kids out of the sun and sand for a bit. Many rooms, each with different themes and activities fun for our 1 year old and 6 year old!!! Of special interest was the pirate ship, airplane cockpit, arts and crafts room, market and building area. Adults and children all pay $6.... 更多
We decided to give the parents a little break on our recent vacation and took our 4 grandkids (ages 2-6) to the Sandbox for a morning outing. They absolutely loved it The older ones sat and did crafts for a long time - coloring, painting, pasting - while the 2-year old wandered around from activity to activity. We stayed a... 更多
This small museum packs more fun into its small space than many larger museums. Our toddler and preschooler had a blast. Lots of creative play spaces, plus books, and craft supplies. Our toddler's favorites were the pirate ship and the electric train. Our preschooler loved the vet clinic, building area, and art room!
Took my 3 grandchildren (3,4,5) and they all had a blast. So did my two young adults who were going back in time when they "use to" play with things. Highly recommend it.
We came here on a rainy day with four kids under 5, and they had a blast (we did too!). This is a children's museum that is unbelievably well stocked with proper arts and crafts materials, an amazing flight simulator that our older kids loved, and dress up clothes that would put any movie set to shame. The soft play... 更多
Visiting Hilton Head with your children or grandkids? It's raining and they are bored or on their tablets...again. Get them moving. Take them to the Sandbox. Our grandkids love this place. We go each time we are in HH and my son can't get enough of this place. The squishy sand is my absolute fave. It gets really crowded on rainy days at peak season because it is a small place but fun for kids.
Took grandchildren (1 & 4-year olds) for the Eggstravaganza, yesterday. Got there at 2:00PM sharp. Kids had already gotten what few eggs that were to be had. Que long & laborious to sign in. Two and half hours later had another "egg hunt"--over in 5 minutes. Still no eggs. Kids stood in line to be handed an egg. Owner(apparently) was... 更多
