The museum is full of religious and hitorical artifacts. You'll need to visit several days to see it all. This is a Christian University that anyone can enjoy. The campus is beautiful, the museum is worth the effort and the student staff are very helpful and friendly.
This was a wonderful program designed for elementary-aged children to acquaint them with the Masters' artwork using Christmas themes. They had mini-craft projects to accompany the various countries features as well as a tea with treats from various countries. My six-year-old granddaughter loved the event and has asked to go to other events there. I myself could spend hours admiring... 更多
I left a review on this place that, after reading it, felt it was too "soft." Then I replaced it with a review in which I went a little to "hard." So this one is it. No doubt there are old paintings here, some important, most not very. Many of the furnishings, ecclesiastical and otherwise, appear to either not be... 更多
We went back for a second visit recently and was again amazed at the quality and number of religious paintings in this museum. Surprising to find this in a city the size of Greenville. It is a visit I would highly recommend. We found the staff to helpful and they answered our questions. They are a very reserved/conservative group of... 更多
At the recommendation of our relatives we visited this outstanding Gallery. We lucked into a guided tour (3 PM Tuesday & Thursday) which was extremely informative and cost only $3 in addition to admission. While most of the art consists of oil paintings, the exhibit also includes frescos, some furniture and sculptures. This is a moving exhibition for visitors of... 更多
A truly impressive museum of world class art! Multiple galleries feature sacred masterworks, many epic in scope and size, that bring the great stories of Biblical times to life. The hushed atmosphere and thick carpet, the professional lighting, and the careful restorations make this an exceptional art gallery experience. Highly recommended!
I traveled from the lowcountry of SC specifically to view this museum and it was well worth the trip. I was in the door when it opened at 2pm. I rented the audio guide and opted to take the 3PM tour, offered on Thursday and Fridays. I felt like I had entered another world with the amazing art work and... 更多
It is something to be seen. If you are in town you should check it out. It is something that you aren't going to see anyplace around. Be sure to have plenty of time to check out all the art. It could take some time.
