The park is nicely wooded with moderately sized sites. I believe they were approximately 30ft X 42ft. All R.V. sites are equipped with water and 30 Amp electric service. Most sites have large Oak trees on site. Ancillary services such as rest rooms are clean. The one problem We encountered with our 37ft motor home was getting in and out... 更多
attractive beach with a good environment. the beach is nice with good parking. bathhouse and restrooms available, in addition-hiking trails are nice and provide a nice walk through nature, enjoyed my visit to this lovely state park.
My wife and I spent a day at the beach in the park and had a wonderful time. The park was relatively clean, considering the amount of people spending time there during this very hot period. The fact that the park allows beach metal detecting was an added bonus!
Campground near there beach is small with some narrow roads and narrow sites. Only saw a couple of mh and certainly not any 40ft 5th. Dirt road and pads. Bath houses well kept but warm inside with new tile and air dryer for hands. You can walk to the beach which is about 50yards from most sites. Bi-Lo grocery store... 更多
I want to say this is horrible because I don't want people to come and spoil this place but it is truly a gem of a beach. The people are kind, considerate, and friendly. The sand is soft and clean. The water comes in and goes out in that soothing manner and the breeze keeps you cool. The atmosphere, both... 更多

Entrance fee for 4 adults and an 8 year old - $28. Yep, $28. Parking was pretty limited and since it was Friday morning, figured that was a bit strange, Went to the beach, nothing... 更多

Great experience. Although it was a busy 4th of July it wasn't nearly as crowded as the beaches in Charleston/Myrtle beach. Great park and beach.
My wife and I spent 1 1/2 nights at the Live Oak Campground. The two campgrounds were fully booked the first night with just a couple of openings the second night. The staff were friendly. There was local wood available (I think it was $6 a bundle). We brought hammocks to sleep in and this was problematic. First, with no... 更多
Spur of the moment trip to Edisto state park. although the parking lot was full we were able to find a parking place on the street very close to entrance. Beach was clean and we had a great time . The only negative I had was the changing rooms and restrooms were disgusting
