While moving to NC from GA a couple of years ago, my husband & I passed this interesting roadside attraction. Interested to see what it was we ended up stopping in. Definitely looks like its been there for a while. Sorta like stepping back into time with the old buildings, statues and attractions Not sure if I would want to... 更多
This is a relic from the past. If you need to fill up, it's worth a stop to get some good and inexpensive SC gas and to say you e been there. If not, pass on by. While you know it's coming for miles because of the dozens of billboards along I95, the reality once you get there is very... 更多
This is a grade A tourist trap attraction. But the gas was priced reasonably. It was worth a one time stop but not someplace we will go every time we pass it. The bathrooms were clean but old.
Been here when I was a kid. Was GREAT then, ...later got to be really sad. Closing down places etc. Just went back and wow... really picked up. Workers in some of the stores aren't really nice, or helpful, but still nice place to visit.
I have happy memories stopping here with my family on route to Florida for many vacations. It's grown to be quite kitschy and the souvenirs are cheesy but my kids love to stop here and it's a nice break for us adults to stretch our legs and get refueled. I hope this place lasts for many more generations and I... 更多
I do not understand what others find fascinating about this place. There's nothing here. Boring, gift shops that all contain the same items, amusement rides that aren't being run, raggedy restaurants, and filthy bathrooms. Definitely not what it used to be. The magic is just gone from this place. I still bought a bumper sticker, but I won't return.
While driving back home from South Carolina to New York, me and the girls decided to stop at this goofy road side attraction. After reading all the reviews we could find, we knew not to expect Disney World. As soon as we got there however, the skis opened up do a torrential down pour with a spectacular lighting show. We... 更多
This place is the ultimate tourist trap and it is AWESOME from the giant sombrero, to Pedero's fireworks to the reptile farm it's got everything! We had so much fun after stopping going on our trip north we decided to stay at the hotel on our return to Florida. If you stayed in a Holiday Inn in the 60's or... 更多
I mean, honestly I don't understand why so many people are holding this place to such an incredibly high standard. It's on the road fun. There's shops and restaurants everywhere, everyone we ran into was friendly and everything was reasonably priced. We will be back!
It is a tourist attraction. Fun to look at stuff and they sell fire works . We got the bumper sticker. In the past we went on top of the sombrero and another to the reptile lagoon . This time we stupidly got there hungry and tried to eat. The cafe had flies that should have told us to run... 更多
