The courthouse is next to a park we were in. We walked in to realize they have a black and white slide show on the main floor. History at it's best. Make sure to walk into the bathroom which is retro and immaculate.
This historic courthouse is open to the pubic free of charge. You will go thr5ough a metal detector as the 3rd floor is an active court. While visiting Charleston, we were told to check out the County Courthouse. There were interesting paintings and beautiful rooms and a chance to get out of the humidity for a while! :)

We were in Old Charleston when we walked past the old courthouse...originally the State Supreme Court. There are some very cool photos and the original court room is perfectly restored. The old law library is still in tact and we enjoyed seeing the old law books (my wife is an attorney), It is still a working building for some offices.... 更多
