Beautiful water views, clean walking paths and outdoor area. Charming swinging benches. Lots of cute shops and good restaurants. Vendors were very friendly.
Lots of really cool little shops of all varieties. Every shop we visited the people were exceptionally friendly. Several rather unusual shops, like the olive oil and vinegar shop. Lots of places to eat.
It would be nicer if it was a longer walking path. It only took a few minutes to walk the length. Some nice areas to sit and enjoy the breeze. They could use more swinging benches.
Beaufort should pat themselves on the back. They didn't replace historical buildings with new ones, they left wide open spaces on the river for the locals and visitors and they keep it clean and simple. Bravo, can't wait to go back.
A short walk and one or two interesting stores --but, nothing to really write home about. The best thing is finding a place to eat that has outside seating and a view of the waterfront park.
Great street to walk along. Has several places for lunch/dinner. Many have outdoor seating behind with views of the Beaufort river. Art galleries and small shops Small local businesses to support and enjoy!
Great day trip for those on Hilton Head. Great stay for those who like the low country. The city and this street are just a pleasant time. Stores are varied and good to visit. The restaurants are great for the low country cuisine,
Bay street is the place to be for many eclectic eateries and shops. From steak to seafood and ice cream it has it all. A stroll through the art galleries and antique shops is a must and you will find many Gullah items for view and purchase. It is just a nice stroll down the street with something for everyone.
