View from lighthouse is great. Depending upon weather you have an unobstructed view of Fisher island Sound to the east, Rhode Island Sound to the West and Block Island. Great place to see the water in all kinds of weather.
The walk to the lighthouse is a pleasant path past beautiful homes, lovely gardens, and if you look up to the left as you walk toward the point you'll see a witch weathervane.

Don't miss this lovely spot. Sit on the wall and gaze out to the waves rolling in. Watch the fishermen early evening cast their lines, take in the beach at the Ocean House across the way, maybe get a peek of Taylor Swift and her besties.

Also right at Taylor Swifts house if you are a fan. Nice walk through the neighborhood to get to the lighthouse. Parking and traffic can be an issue during the... 更多
Lived here when I was a kid. My dad was the last lighthouse keeper before they automated the lighthouse. Watch Hill is a beautiful Northern Seaside Town with a carousel and all kinds of cool shops. You'll pass Taylor Swifts house on the walk to the Lighthouse. Just an awesome place to go fish or walk around.
This stately structure is a "beacon" of American history. It sits on a promontory overlooking a gorgeous beach and near the top rated Resort Hotel in America, the Ocean House, It is reached by a short drive from the lovely Watch Hill Harbor,
The area around the lighthouse was under construction and since it private property it can be only reviewed from a distance. About a 15 minute walk from the street, but over 65 and handicapped can drive up to the parking are in front of the light house.
