I'm only disappointed that I didn't stumble upon Wickford Village with my wife. Lots of unique shops and cafes. I like frequenting non-chain places and this fits that requirement perfectly. Historic and scenic, with a nice breeze on a hot day.
What a nice little town/village. Lots of beautiful old homes/buildings from the 1800s. Went specifically for the Art Festival on 9/10 of July. What a great collection of artists, lots of things for lots of different people. Would definitely come back again to look for the certain piece.

This was by far the best Art Show ever and we have been to several. We were at the ocean on a crummy beach day and decided to check it out. Expecting a tiny show in a very small town, it took us three hours to simply walk the whole show. What a wonderful day it turned out to be.
Great place to visit on a sunny day. Pretty with some interesting little shops. Dog friendly. Many stores had water out for dogs and some restaurants allow dogs if seated outside.
Came here on the 4th of July and a lot of shops were closed but still worth a half day to enjoy. There's plenty to see and do. Beautiful little fishing village. 3 hour street parking in the residential area. Farmers market only on Thursdays.
Walked around the main shopping area and there were several cute shops with nice clothing, and other fun ,gift items. Scenic in nature and easy walking. Parking was on the street and easy as it was midweek. A couple of antiques shops that had some interesting and pricey items!! Good way to spend a few $$$$!
