I love walking around downtown Wickford. While the shops can be somewhat expensive, it's a beautiful area. Good food and great to walk around on a nice day. Even in during the Christmas season there is a lot going on.
Spent 4 hrs wandering around the streets, harbour & shops. The houses/buildings are a delight and lots of them have names and years from the 17 & 1800's on them. We were advised to visit this village whilst on Rhode Island - it is so cute. There is a lovely albeit small harbour were we sat and had our lunch watching the boats coming in - the problem was there just wasn't enough dock space for them and many just turned around and left again. Nice to watch them though.... 更多
Diane and I spent a day in town shopping a having lunch. This is a cute little town a easy walk and lots of shops to go into. There are places to eat and drink and a nice view of the harbor.

Gives you a feel for colonial times, and what a special village it was. The harbor is also beautiful so sit on a bench and take in the sights of... 更多
Great little shops and restaurants. You can rent kayaks and paddle boards. Get there early for parking. Don't plan on staying late on a Saturday though. Except for 2 shops that I know of they all close at 6!! Hence the 4 stars.
