Loved the area. The view from Rimrock Overlook is amazing! Another amazing view every time you went around another rock. The trails were well maintained with handles on the stairs. Make sure to have appropriate shoes for the trail. Also stopped at a nearby marina for lunch which was delicious (a little closer to Kinzua Dam). Can't wait to go... 更多
Neat place. Big picnic area. Lots of hiking trails in fairly small area. Overlook is beautiful. However, paste the address into Apple Maps or Google Maps and location that pops up for directions is miles--20+ miles!--north and east of the actual location. This is a short hike to the overlook from the parking lot and well worth the walk. The views are fabulous in all seasons, and if you like climbing around, this is a great area. Also great for geocaching.
Very nice view of the reservoir and a few hiking trails. Good place to visit. It's certainly worth stopping if you are in the area.
Rimrock is a scenic overlook with lots of large rocks and trails. As you enter the parking lot, there is a nice picnic area and toilet. Be aware nature is at your finger tips....bears and other critters are not far away!
Although most everyone knows about Rimrock, I still consider it a "burried treasure" - well worth visiting with out-of-town visitors for the first time and with area natives for the 100th time. Always feels a little like the forest primeval to me...beautiful, mysterious and wonderful!
