One of the things I liked best during our Shawnee on Delaware visit was the feeling of being in an old-time village. The gallery, playhouse, general store and the Brew pub were in easy walking distance of the "Shawnee Inn", and they all occupied their own picturesque buildings. Nobody could call the majority of the items in the gallery cheap, but... 更多
I walked past here innumerable times and finally decided to take a look. They have a really nice variety of local art, paintings, photographs, sculptures, jewelry, etc. I ended up buying my father a nice, small copy of a painting of the Delaware Water Gap. The woman working there was pleasant and helpful and I didn't feel uncomfortable just browsing.... 更多
Loved this gallery. Unlike many recent gallery stops this place is not packed with tons of tourist knick knacks. The quality and quantity of local furniture, art, jewelry, pottery and more very nice items to choose from. Open Thursday to Sunday so plan on stopping in and enjoy shopping. Check out the hand beaded bracelets..my favorite!
We happened upon this place while out driving around Shawnee on Delaware this afternoon. We were surprised to walk into a large open space filled with pottery, paintings, photography, quilting and much more.
A great stop off to visit the crafty and quality items available to view and/or purchase. Friendly and genuine staff and owners will help you in every way possible or just let you wander through the locally crafted items. Be sure to take your time and enjoy this unique and truely special shop. Definitely worthy of some time for a... 更多
A wonderful place for crafted items; much larger inside than it first appears from the road. Lots of fabulous finds inside. I'm a chatterer so I am particularly happy when the owners or people working in a place are friendly and chatty and have wealth of knowledge. My only complaint is that it is only open Thursday - Sunday. I... 更多
This is a really cute little abode in the 'town' area where lots of well known people once had homes...e.g. Jackie Gleason. It's smal, quaint and the ladies running it are full of charm. It's worth stopping and chatting if nothing else because they'll treat you great and tell you alot of history. We thoroughly enjoyed both ladies.
The shop owners are friendly & talkative. They carry a variety of locally crafted items from jewelry to framed photography & scarves. Worth a look
