We had to stop off here during a U.S. road trip as fans of the movie Groundhog Day. After spending some time taking photos, a man appeared in his car and introduced himself as Bob Young. He then proceeded to turn our afternoon into a truly wonderful experience. Bob is a volunteer and displays so much passion for, and knowledge... 更多
We were looking for somewhere to stay on our road trip from the USA to Canada, we spotted Punxsutawney on the map and the film Groundhog Day came into our heads, we knew this was going to be our stop so glad we picked this cool little place. After checking in to our hotel we made our way to Gobblers... 更多
Groundhog day 2017 was a blast. There is a large crowd here for one of America's most interesting holidays. If you decide to do groundhog day, catch the bus at the local Walmart, costs $5. If you get on the bus by 4:30 or 5 would manage to get a decent spot at the knob. They do dancing and singing... 更多

Bring hand and foot warmers! We bought inner-circle passes from groundhog.org and were able to get up close to the stage. Festival started at 3:00 am. We got there at 5:30 and didn't feel like we had missed a thing.
We had a great time visiting Punxsutawney. Went to Gobbler's Knob for all of the GHD festivities. It was snowing at times and very cold, but it was a great experience. I would have never guessed that I would have been standing at Gobbler's Knob at 0330 in the morning, drinking hot choc and eating a hot dog whilst waiting... 更多
We had a great time at Gobbler's Knob and In Punxsutawney. There are so many Groundhog Day activities in Punxsutawney, including scavenger hunts, craft sales, free Groundhog Day screening, and the thing we did -- Passport to Punxsutawney . We really enjoyed it - the town is so friendly and they really get excited about Their Phil! We read reviews... 更多
We visited Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017. We were too late to have breakfast with Phil, but saw the stage where it all happens every year on Feb. 2nd. There is even a ramp for wheelchairs to watch the festivities!
In route from a family wedding to a business meeting, we decided to break up the 11 hour drive and stay the night in Punxsutawney. Thought it was the "cute" town in the movie but that is not the case. Gobblers Knob; however, is the real deal and it was fun to walk around and see even though there wasn't... 更多
Driving through the area and stopped to see Gobbler's Knob 2 months before Punxsutawney Phil makes his next appearance on Groundhog's Day. The bulletin board and interpretive signs give a thorough walk-through timeline of the history of the area and the fun that is the Groundhog Festival. A few steps away is the stage, a couple of small buildings and... 更多
