This was our second visit to Locust Lake with 4 kids ranging in ages from 10-18. Book early so that you can get a site on the lake. These premium sites go quickly. Our site was perfect! We were not only on the lake, but we were close to the beach, bath house, playground, and store! The beach is small... 更多
We did a camping trip here 2 weeks ago and I have to say that it is a really gorgeous place to go. We got a campsite near the water and it was fantastic! the park rangers were very friendly! they did their rounds multiple times during the day and night. the bathrooms were kept clean. There is cellphone/internet signal... 更多
This little Pennsylvania State Park is a gem! The folks are friendly and the campground is very rustic and comfortable. Shady sites a plentiful and everything is kept in relatively good order. Bath houses are clean and well kept. Beautiful lake and beach area. A bit out of the way but the quiet and peacefulness is worth it.
We really had a nice visit over the 4th weekend. Our first stay. Overall a nice park, lay back, with a bike/hike path around the lake (1.3 miles). Boating and rentals are good. Since this was our first time at this SP, we took a chance on the site, near the lake. People tend to cut through the campsites on... 更多
Stayed in 2 sites - 272 (lakefront) and 263. Had 253 reserved, but it was pretty steep, so we changed it. Sites are really hit or miss as far as being level. 263 was pretty flat. 272 had some grade to it, but not too bad, and being lakefront was nice. The lakefront sites on the North loop all seem... 更多
We have camped there for about 30 years. First in a pop up later in a travel trailer. We like the lake and the trail that goes around it. The sites have electric. We prefer a little more isolation but it works. The bath houses could use some updating. Hopefully that will happen because other Pa State Parks have been... 更多
The map of the campground on ReserveAmerica is pretty inaccuate. We selected our site because it looked like it has the greatest distance between it and other adjacent sites. Wrong! Avoid Site #243 at all costs. It's TINY - not enough room for your tent's footprint and any additional items such as camp chairs, etc. Also, it's on a pretty... 更多
a place where a person who like the outdoors should go a little of everything to do for people who like to travel and like to do there things they prefer.
