My husband and I try to get here each year to see the Geese, but this trip we were just nearby and wanted a quick look. It's always different, no matter what time of year we go, there is always something new to see. This is a popular area for fishing, hiking, picnics and family days, a lot of photographers... 更多
We got to see the migrating Snow Geese, and Tundra Swans! This is simply a wonderful place, and the visitors center is so very informative, with binoculars and a place to view birds from inside. It would be a real shame to have this place shut down!
Stopped by on the way from Lancaster to Cabelas. The visitor center is incredible - the interactive displays make you rethink your view of the animals. On the drive around we saw snowgeese and an eagle sitting on a nest, turtles and Canadian geese. Great relazinf spot.
Middle creek is a great place to go for a hike, picnic or just to watch the wildlife. They also have a great visitor center. Definitely a unique place in central PA
We were a couple of days too late to see the largest number of birds, but there was still an impressive display. We saw Snow Geese, Canada Geese, and Tundra Swans. Several species of ducks too, although in small numbers. It was a beautiful day to be outside. We didn't spend much time in the Visitor Center, but the two... 更多
Visitor center provide great information about migration bird and wildlife habitat. This is a great place to see over 50,000 birds migration in spring. Snow geese, tundra swan, Canadian geese, bald eagle and many birds are around.
My 1st time here. End of Feb., beginning of March is best time to go see the snow geese. They settle here in droves! Go to visitors center first. It's very nice up there, guides are very helpful, indoor viewing window, owls, birds, etc. on the wall to see, educational materials available. GREAT place for young children and school age... 更多
This is the best kept secret in Pennsylvania, though they were featured in Birds and Blooms magazine. There is plenty of wildlife and in the very early Spring (late Feb - end March) the Snow Geese rest in the pond on their travels by the thousands. It's an amazing site to see and people come here from all over the... 更多
If you are anywhere near this attraction, try to stop by and see it. There is a very helpful tourist information center, food and drink is available as well as picnic tables outside. There is talk of closing the entire area for lack of funding. If, in fact, this is trueI I hope some of the political powers to be... 更多
I've been coming here in the spring for many years. Since moving to FL this is one area I've missed immensely. This year I happen to be back in PA at the right time for Snow Geese. We made the 3 hour trip, one way, didn't see many geese but enjoyed the beauty and the opportunity to visit one more... 更多
