Visited on a most inclement day. Had about half an hour there before heavens opened. Volunteer driver took us around a lot of the grounds and told us much of the history of the place. Without him we would have been totally drenched. He was our hero and made visit most enjoyable.

took the fiancé there as she had never been before and she fell in love with the place. so peaceful and a lovely cream tea to boot!
Took friends to the Stable for breakfast. It was great. Selections of choices but the English breakfast was excellent and very good value. Good way to start your day.
It's free!! Kids will love it. You can wander and wander. You have to pay in the car park at the bottom of the park but it is free at the top by the church. Summer or winter but wear good shoes if it is wet. Several places to eat and toilets at the house and entrance.
This is a place I visit regularly and it never fails to deliver. The park often has free events on site such as fetes or car shows, but no matter when you visit the park and grounds are wonderful for a family or solo day out - with sunday lunch in the Orangery a favourite of mine
Always a lovely place to take the family, picnic and a run around for my little boy nothing beats it! He can even grab an ice cream while we're there :) lovely views and great places to take some lovely pictures. Will be visiting again soon!
This house has so much history of Cornwall. The house is full of paintings and usefull information about the history of the area. There is a massive garden which goes all the way to the beachfront.
