Set off Thursday to find the gallery only to find it was closed.Visited again Friday when open and what a delight. Local scenes and wildlife watercolours in the main. Most for sale. Some sample Yorkshire potteries for sale too. There's opportunity to take painting lessons too, Richard Burton was happy to take time out and explain what a day's course consists... 更多
I love looking at the paintings in the gallery. Perfect for presents as well as my own home. Definitely worth taking a look. The cafe is first class too with home made cakes every day - the scones are to die for.
Excellent cakes, coffee and lunch. Rustic surroundings with wooden tables and chairs, friendly waitress. A welcome addition to the village and souvenir shopping opportunity.
We stopped here on a walk from Bempton Cliffs this morning and enjoyed a lovely home baked scone and cup of tea. After enjoying more time walking on the cliffs spotting puffins we went back just half an hour before they closed at 4.30 and asked if we could have a sandwich. No problem! Lovely and fresh and served with... 更多
Stopped off for some lunch after a couple of hours out in the wind on cliffs bird watching. Nice selections of options on the menu and despite only one member of staff seeming to cover everything nice quick service of hearty filling food. Would happily recommend.
Finding somewhere that is not only a good base for a couple but that will also take our dog is quite a task. This a very nice spot. Friendly with a small home- made food café. Family run excellent pictures and photos of Richard's own art work. Also a screen focused on the nearby Bempton RSPB sanctuary
A very friendly tea room with beautiful homemade cakes on display. I had a hot scone, straight from the oven with clotted cream and jam! I also managed to find a lovely piece of pottery for a perfect Christmas present. All in all it was definitely worth the visit and I'll definitely be going back!
