The recent renovation of Martin's Mill covered bridge is impressive. There is a lot of history here and the fact that the bridge was lifted off of the foundation during the Hurricane Agnes flood of 1972 adds to the story. The bridge is now closed to vehicular traffic, but can be accessed by foot traffic. Access to the park and... 更多
The bridge was recently rebuilt to bring it back to its glory. There is a park with tables for picnics and you can also swim in the Conococheague Creek to cool off. August 13 the bridge will be open for a drive thru. It is closed to traffic normally.
I've actually been here 2x . 1st during the week before the warmer weather came. I suggest come during the week mid day of you can make it. It's not so busy when you have 2 toddlers in toe. They loved the ducks they got to see. And for the second trip out it was my husband and myself with... 更多
This place is a pretty decent little park with a great area to swim. You get the history of the bridge and a place to have a picnic. A lot of people you this as a place to get out of when floating. It can get pretty packed with cars on both sides of the bridge in the summer.

I came here hiking with a friend and we ended up at the covered bridge. Apparently there is a geocache here that I was hoping to get. However my reception to use my GPS was not at all good in this hollow, so I just enjoyed the beautiful historic covered bridge and the serenity of the stream that flows under... 更多
I believe this is probably the biggest covered bridge I have ever seen...and like the park itself was very well maintained and a fun place to hike. The only complaint I have is that the frisbee trails were not very well marked for the next hole. Other than that, a very nice place to visit!
This has always been a favorite spot to just walk and think. It's always quite and relaxing! A little disappointed that the swimming hole isn't open this summer , but I totally understand that the bridge needed fixed . Can't wait till next summer
A semi-romantic stop with the "babbling brook" peacefully flowing under this historic covered bridge. With its bright red coloration and... 更多
