The park has very nice walking trails along the brook and there are benches around for a 'sit down' (if needed). There are plenty of trees, so you can visit in the heat of the day in the summer. There are also picnic tables available and a bathroom near the visitor center. A very pleasant place to take a stroll.... 更多
Stopped. y this little gem after having driven by earlier in the week. Very old historic site and interesting to see a place over 300 years old. Those who are Irish might appreciate the story here as well. Mill, trout pond for fishing, walking trails, shady areas to sit and think. Right off a busy highway but still feels quiet... 更多
As it was the middle of the week, I was the only one there for the 2pm tour of the mill and the miller's house. There was so much to see and to learn about. The mill is in fantastic condition, and the docent was very knowledgeable about the local history and the history and operation of milling. I hadn't... 更多
Such a peaceful feeling when walking through the beautiful trails. Take the time to stop to see the wonderful masterpiece Mother Nature brings us in this serene locale. It gives you a different perspective on how marvelous nature can be and also how times were several hundred years ago. Sometimes you can even feel positive friendly energy amongst certain areas.... 更多

When built, there were no mill manuals but just clever, ingenious tradesmen who took ideas and created a fantastic blend of metal & wood powered by the water... 更多
I love visiting historical places and this was no exception. The grounds are very well taken care of, the facility is in great shape, and this is just a nice place to take the family and relax around a historical landmark. it's on either side of a mildly busy road, so hold the kids hands, but this is well worth... 更多
Just a fun place to take the kids or the adults too. They have many summer programs but love the homemade ice cream one. Cool place to just take a walk through and slow down a little in life. Take the phones out of your hands and just stroll through time. The well needed rest feels great!
I always remembered catching a fish as a kid, and I recently moved back to the area and discovered that it was right next door at Newlin Grist Mill!!! It is an amazing place to take kids to explore nature and try out fishing. It also has some nice short trails to walk.
