Been going there for a number of years. Usually an A+ experience. Not today! Course in terrible shape, probably due to bad east coast weather this year. Greens are fine. No grass on fairways. Staff are great as usual. Will not go back next year. Will give them another shot in 2018.
We try to play here 3 or 4 times a year. Labor Day was our first time this year. Only problem was the putting green was very slow and the greens on the course were lightning fast. We all 3-putted the first hole! Other than that, our experience was AWESOME! We played the Iron Forge course. Course was crowded, but... 更多
Another year in the books for our golf group at Penn National with hardly any complaints. Both courses were in great shape, lodging was similar to a standard hotel room and the service was second to none. I can't say enough about the group of people that work here. Everyone is always friendly, accommodating and helpful. Breakfast is buffet style... 更多
I probably sound like a PN employee sneaking in and writing this but, I was really as satisfied as I state below! Seven friends and I were at Penn National for a golfing weekend. Everything, absolutely everything, went well I am a retired C-level executive and have traveled extensively, to some of the best resorts in the country. While PN... 更多
For those who are looking to golf, and enjoy good food, and don't minding brining your own beer (this is a "dry county), Penn National is simply the best place there is to golf. I have played in Scotland (including the Old Course), I have played the Golden Horse shoe in Williamsburg, I have played Quail West in Naples. While... 更多
Spent a weekend here with three other couples. Two nights, three rounds of golf, two breakfasts, and two dinners. Perfect weather, two nice golf courses, and the nicest people from the minute we checked in until we left. Will definitely go back to this resort.
Worth coming to S. Central PA just for the golfing experience. This is a stay and play destination with a beautiful Inn and on-site clubhouse dining. Other activities abound for visitors or the visiting spouse. Special quilting retreat weekends, beautiful hiking trails on site, regular yoga classes, near to Destination Arts! Waynesboro, downtown Chambersburg, Michaux State Forest and more. For... 更多
Played the Iron Forge course at Penn National. Got the twilight rate of $47 and teed off at 2:50 PM. I had played the course twenty years ago when it first opened and wanted to see what it was like now. Back then it was a wide open field with new trees. Now the trees are bigger and there are... 更多
Played both courses this weekend. Both courses were exceptional. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens were excellent. Greens were fast. Interesting layout both courses. Very fair though. Highly recommend. Online specials allowed us to play both courses for a total of $90. Cheaper than playing my county courses.
This is an excellent golf course. They have two 18 hole courses one of which is wide open and the other one with a lot of trees. Both are beautiful.
