As a flatlander form Florida, I can't get enough views of the Columbia River Gorge. This is our first stop from PDX, well, after eating at McMenamins. And, you can see for miles. You get a good view of the Vista House, and beyond. I say don't miss a chance to see one view after another of this gorgeous landscape.
Parking is not plentiful, but if you are patient there will be an open space within a few minutes. View is beautiful. This was our first stop on the Columbia River Gorge scenic highway 30.
My husband and I started our Historic Columbia River Road tour with a stop at the Women's Forum State Scenic Viewpoint. There is a big sign along the road. We spent 10-15 minutes viewing the Columbia River and Vista House in distance. There was plenty of room for vehicles in the parking lot on the north side to the road.... 更多
What a great way to overlook the Gorge and not crowded either time I went there! It's a quick drive from Gresham, a few mins from the Vista House, and then not too far from all of the falls that are worth stopping at.
My family and I stopped at this location first and it had the best views of the Columbia River Gorge. Ample parking with 2 areas to view the gorge. Highly recommend this to be your first stop if your coming from Portland or Vancouver area. We later stopped at the Vista house and did not find it as stunning and... 更多
My mother and I set off on a scenic drive up the Oregon coast on the way to the waterfalls. I fell asleep for most of the way and woke just as we were pulling into the parking lot to this breathtaking view. Definitely worth a visit.
The Portland Women's Forum is a view point along the old Historic Columbia River Highway. It is just a few miles east of Corbett, Oregon. This view point provides an excellent place to view Crown Point and the Vista House that stands on a bluff overlooking the Colombia River Gorge. It is a dramatic sight to see this Historical octagonal... 更多
We drove along the historic Scenic Highway 30 and just followed the signs, and the view from here is really breathtaking. You have an unimpeded view to the east along the Columbia River Gorge. Beautiful gardens and a women retreat, too.
