It was pouring buckets and the Falls were amazing! We had a ball and will go again to see what it is like in spring and again in summer! It's always wonderful!
Incredible views and a relaxing drive. Be sure to visit the Vista House, but check the hours, as it is not open all the time in the winter. Too bad, because the views are still wonderful, despite the cold.

This is a beautiful drive any time of year! Gorgeous view of the gorge! You need to make sure you have proper clothing if you go in the fall or winter. It is very windy up there and can get really cold! Make sure you go inside and take a peek! Beautiful architecture!
This is a wonderful place of history and culture about the Columbia Gorge in Oregon just east of Portland. The beauty of the gorge is awesome. The Columbia River Highway is a wonderful drive with beautiful water falls and breath taking views of the gorge.
take your time, this is not a fast trip, but the views are spectacular. if you make the trip in summer or fall, be sure to stop at the local orchards.
