A Small Waterfront City in Oregon. The City is small but with very interesting shops and views. We stopped by the city on our way to Hood River ,much visited and liked town near by. But Dallas has equally nice things to offer and is much quite.Visit the Dallas Dam if you have time.Check fortimings in advance.
The Dalles is about 20 min drive from Hood River and it is worth a visit. It lacks the vibes of Hood River, the hotels, the breweries and the restaurants. There is a beautiful view point that provides panoramic pictures in three directions with hiking trails taking off from there. Wind surfing is close. Quite a few great restaurants. Don't forget the Highway House for steaks that... 更多
