When visiting my aunt we had about an hour of free time. We went to the Oregon Garden. It was a typical Oregon day, dreary and chilly, but the garden and views were still beautiful. We spent most of our time on the tram tour, this is a great way to see the garden grounds, it was very informative. I... 更多
I went here when it first opened in 2001. The plants then were so tiny! Wow, what a difference now! They have a nice brochure and map so you can get around easily. This time of year there are lots of blooms, plus always the Evergreens, typical to the NW. After walking for about 1 1/2 hours, seeing much of... 更多
We took the tram ride through the garden and cannot believe how the garden has grown. It is now has the feel of a well established garden and the upkeep is amazing.
The Oregon Gardens first opened in 2001. Since then they've grown with leaps and bounds. There are plants from all over the western US represented and spring was in full bloom. The park is separated into many different areas featuring a large verity of plant life from ground cover to trees. There is a tram that runs every half hour... 更多
The gardens are thoroughly walkable and enjoyable. The later you are in the spring or during the summer, the more color there is on the shrubs and plants.
I was surprised when I typed in this house on the Trip Advisor that it didn't show up on the menu or on the search. This house is located on the Oregon Gardens premises so that it why I'm writing about it here. Perhaps eventually this house will be listed on the Trip Advisor in the future. We always enjoy... 更多
About 15 years old, this "gift" garden has been well-populated with native plants. Can be walked, but many choose to take the free trams that circulate about every half hour and give narrated tours. Parts are still works in progress--parts are old christmas tree farms "gone wild", parts are very nicely designed view corridors reminiscent of those at Versailles. There... 更多
Even though we live only 25 miles away from the Oregon Garden, we celebrate many of of birthdays and anniversaries there. The comfortable, well-tended cottages, the fine bar and restaurant, the beauty and serenity of the lovely gardens make this a perfect place to commemorate these occasions. And comparing this resort with the many alternatives in neighboring states, this is... 更多
Oregon Garden is actually a variety of theme gardens, all of which are pretty with a variety of plants, trees, and whimsical sculptures. You can take a tram ride of about 20 minutes to get a great overview or walk around the well laid out course for a more in depth experience. We have visited twice and recommend the walk.... 更多
We stayed at Oregon Garden Resort, so we got free tickets to visit the Oregon Garden next door. We visited towards the end of March, which might be a bit early for the Spring growth. The garden looks nice though and there are a few active projects going on. The little shuttle cart was very nice with the guide giving... 更多
It was great! It sprinkled a bit but didn't faze us in the least! Children's garden was awesome spent 45 or so minutes there alone. It was very nice to be able to hop on and off the tram. Bring a picnic lunch! There were many different beautiful spots all around the garden to have picnic covered and uncovered.
