If you like to ride your bike, go for a run, or take your dog to a dog park you can do all of that at Minto-Brown park. It is very well maintained. In August the wild blackberries are amazing! Take a day and enjoy the outside at the park.
This park is wonderful! It has bike paths, walking trails, a dog park, lovely trees, the Willamette River, a pond and much more. I loved this park, but until I moved above it, I didn't really use it that often. I can enjoy watching birds, dogs, people and cars use this park every day. Even when it partially flooded this... 更多
Since this is in my neighborhood, I find myself cycling around it regularly. Trails go quite a ways down the river and recently we saw this bald eagle looking for food on the Willamette. Smooth bike trails make for a great ride every time. This fall they will finish connecting this park to downtown Salem.
We love this park. There are lots of walking trails that are well maintained. You often see lots of wildlife and the views are spectacular. We love to go as a family and spend the afternoon walking the trails. The playground is small but my girls had a great time playing while the adults chatted. Seems to be relatively safe... 更多
This park is really an all around experience, and i mean that literally!! Yes you can walk all the way around it. There is a dog park, and just so much space for them to run. Then another park up ahead for family gatherings and B.B.Q'S. A play structure for your little ones, more parking as well. Then right by the Willamette river... 更多
I originally discovered Minto Brown island Park in 2012, because of a alleged haunted spot. (its been torn down since my last visit). Once an actual island, Minto Brown is now dry, except for the river, flowing through the Park. It is a great place for dogs to run, and play, enough shade for a picnic, and there are many... 更多
An island park that spends part of the year mostly submerged, Minto-Brown may be a little hard to find but is well worth repeat visits. Biking and hiking trails offer great river (Willamette) views and you're gonna see some type of wildlife - often beavers. Pleasant, rarely crowded, and close-in... Stop by for a day or a short refresher.
this urban park has many trails for walkers, joggers and bikers. It's a great place to walk through trees and along the Willamette River. Some of the trails are handicap accessible. There is also a playground and picnic area.
The water is high and the trees and shrubs are starting to bloom. It was a beautiful, rare, sunny day and we got out and enjoyed the trails. The one we were on was flooded out but we had a great walk along the strong flowing Willamette river.
Being new to Salem, my kids & I went to check out this park! It was still winter, but they LOVED throwing rocks into the water. It looks like a great park for riding bikes, going for a walk or run, or exercising your dogs. The only thing that could improve this park would be a slightly bigger play structure... 更多
