We came to this brewery to appease my boyfriend. He loved it but the beers were a little bit unique for my liking. A lot of the flavor profiles were very extreme and non-traditional for my taste. However, the location was good-looking, the service was exceptional, and he was extremely happy with his beers. It was definitely a must-drink location... 更多
Had a great dining experience at Hair of the Dog last week. Ordered the Reuben sandwich; one of the best I have had - the meat was tender and very flavorful. Others in my party ordered the Mac n Cheese which of course I sampled. It was really good too. I believe you would have a delicious meal here no... 更多
I don't typically enjoy beer, but got a flight with my meal that included their "red" and darker beers. The beers were not bad. The food is better than most breweries I have been to and I love their location and space. It is open, inviting, parking is not usually an issue. Nice lunch spot.
This is the first place we went to in Portland. They have a rotating choice of beer and wine. The menu try's to give you a description of each one but the waitress can describe it better. There's also a variety of food items. We loved the brewery plate which is cured meats and cheese. Everything is reasonably priced and... 更多
The best beer they had was a collaboration with Big Island Brewhouse, the Golden Sabbath. I think that says enough about this brewery that their best beer was brewed by another brewery. Food is sandwiches only, great for lunch....not so much for dinner. This is my least favorite brewery in Portland.
I've read so many good thing about this place it was on my must see list for Portlandia. It's in an industrial area by OMSI so this make for a good lunch stop. The area is a bit sketchy but don't be too intimidated. The taproom/restaurant is a huge open space with good lighting. A flight of beers provides a... 更多
They've got good beers and a lively atmosphere. It could have been a great experience except it was insanely hot inside. No a/c apparently. A tightly packed space full of people and no circulating air. I just couldn't enjoy the beers fully as I was just dying to get out of there.
Beers were awesome. Food was good too. Service was horrendous, our middle-aged male server had zero interest in the beer industry or teaching anyone anything memorable. I asked about the history of the brewery/beers brewed and got very little in response; he wasn't even interested in food! I would have happily spent $200+ had I had the information to do... 更多
Wow!!! The beer was great, but I sure am sorry that we were an inconvenience to the bartender!! It seemed utterly painful for him to grab us a beer! We had plans of buying merchandise, but after our experience.......see ya later, and sorry we bothered you!!!
On a recent weekend in Portland we visited several breweries. This was locally recommended and our favorite both for beer and for food. Sharing the meat plate, a pickle sampler, and a little bread, made for a nice lunch. And the place is nicely casual and comfortable.
