We went at low tide and went down to beach. Here you can climb the rocks and go in the bowl!! There is tons of tidepools to play in, little waterfalls, and little caves to explore!! So much fun!
Great walkway with visualization of the punchbowl from above. Squirrels were plentiful and very tame. Easy walk to the stairs which led down to the water. Once down on the beach, look up to really appreciate the size of these cliffs. There were numerous people in wet suits, getting ready to ride some waves. There were stairs down to the... 更多
Its a large hole that sea water enters and exits, I think we must have visited during low tide so it wasn't extremely interested, I was hoping to see sea spray shoot out of the hole. We did get to see some whales spouting off in the distance.
Kids looked at us funny when we took them to it and it was low tide. But if you take Ave C (I think it's Ave C) right before you get to the parking area of devils punchbowel, there is a safe and public way to access the beach which is something I've never done before. We did come back... 更多
Took a drive to the coast in the hope of finding Devil's Punchbowl at low tide. Unfortunately, the tide was only halfway out/in, so I was unable to walk down to the beach and explore the "punchbowl" empty :( So, instead, I walked around the area and was pleased to be able to see different views of of this sea... 更多
This is a remarkable place with caves, arches, and tidal pools. Get there just before low tide. We really enjoyed it. Down a steep path, not access for the disabled.
Nature at its best. Visit during low tide so that you can go to the beach and get into the punchbowl. His cavity is created by wave action and gives a totally different perspective than you get from the viewing deck by the parking lot. There are tide pools everywhere and lots of marine life to see hanging out waiting... 更多
Stopped here not knowing a thing about it. Nice detour off the highway with a little park. A mini Mo's too. We didn't know about any trails, and I've just learned about Otter Loop. We're in a mini-motorhome and AFTER we passed the last little side road, there was a sign that said 'No motorhomes beyond this point... no turnaround.'... 更多
