This is a wonderful farmers' market, but contrary to what was described as a "tree lined park" it is really a tree lined parking lot! This makes for easy walking & wheelchair access that may not be possible in a park.
Even though it is surrounded by the big city of Portland, Milwaukie still retains that small-town feel. The farmers market, located at a tree-lined park on Main street on Sunday mornings offers a wide variety of vendors. If you are looking for fresh, really fresh, fruits and veggies then this is the place to go. On our recent visit berries... 更多
This Farmers' Market has more than just produce. There is a variety of vendors (produce, ready-to-eat foods, crafts, jewelry, etc.). I find something to purchase each time I visit.
We serendipitously hit the market about thirty minutes before it closed. I had delicious falafel from fat kitty. The kids got a gyro, a popsicle, and a balloon animal. Lots of beautiful produce, an ATM and port o potties, and free nearby parking. What could be better?
Nice quaint market with the seasonal fruits and veggies. The vendors had nice displays. Other items were sold such as grilled foods, pottery, crafts, deserts, wood craft, flowers, and some sea food. A small band played some mellow jazz. Price of the fruit n veggies was a little higher than other markets but the produce was very clean. I got... 更多
Running from the first weekend in May through October, the market is open every Sunday until 2pm. Its located in downtown Milwaukie right on highway 99 E in the 2 parking lots fronting the court house. It is small by farmers market standards, but packed with vendors: all local farms and a couple of regional farmers, many are organic. Other... 更多
We always enjoy the variety of foods and products and the live music. Sadly it closes at 2pm which means we often miss it- but nice when we can!
I am always disappointed when it comes to an end. Not only does this farmers market offer great produce and fruits, it also has seasonal fresh fish. It is a one stop shop. They offer nursery items for your house and garden, handmade artisan soaps and much more. Unlike other markets there is ample street parking and after you are... 更多
We have shopped here weekly since coming to Milwaukie. It has a lot of choices and in summer we could do the majority of our weekly shopping here. The atmosphere is relaxed and you can get something to eat and listen to live music as you shop. It has the usual great fruit and veggies. Unusual things we like here... 更多
Despite a rainy Sunday, this large Farmers Market was friendly and busy. Lots of variety. Fresh fruits, flowers, and vegetables. Cheesecake, bakery goods, fresh fish, nut butters, jams and jelly, jewelry, wine, handmade clothing, cheeses, fragrant fresh roasted peanuts and chestnuts, unusual homemade chips/crackers/snacks. My favorites were the real bagel (pumpernickel with the classic shiny chewy boiled exterior), dainty tasty... 更多
