This is a beautiful stop on the way to or from Crater Lake National Park that has no fees for usage. There are bathrooms and plenty of parking. The walk is easy with no elevation. The paved trail does not loop, so you must walk back to the parking area. The river is pristine, the walkway is asphalt and the... 更多
We stopped here on our way from Crater Lake to Grants Pass. There are restrooms in the parking lot and it's a short drive from the main road. A short trail leads to a raging section of the Rogue River, which shoots through some lava tubes and comes out the other end as a waterfall...a natural wonder
Peaceful restful and an easy walk. So beautiful the whole river rushing through a very small area. In the fall the colors are wonderful not as much water but the fall colors make up for it. In spring the roar of the water is awesome. One of our favorite places to day trip.
Easy walk over a bridge. Take as long as you want and enjoy the beauty of rushing water over downed trees and rocks. See lava pockets along the edges of the water. One of my favorite places in SO.Oregon along the same area of the Rogue Gorge. Paved areas
I have been to the Natural Bridge Loop several times and have taken my friends to see uniqueness of the water and surroundings. One wants to be able to do some hiking in this lovely area.
This natural bridge is well worth the drive. It will astound even the most avid of travelers. The trail is well marked with plenty of signs explaining how the natural bridge was made.
This is a must-stop on the way to or back from Crater Lake. The short paved trail takes you over the Rogue River with spectacular views at the rushing water coming through the lava tubes and the view down stream. There are several informational panels that explain the formation of the lava tubes which is pretty fascinating. This hike can... 更多
Visiting the Natural bridge near Union Creek, north of Medford about 60 miles. Big parking lot and a wonderful walkway along the river. There is a really good camp ground a few hundred yards in the pine trees. This is a great way to experience the Pacific Northwest.
Natural Bridge Loop, just below "The Gorge" is a beautiful, informative and easy trail wo hike and learn about geology and why the Rogue River travels under the rock where the Natural Bridge is. A great walk for family of all age ranges.
