$5 parking fee. Popular with families especially with sand surfers. Views of the Pacific which is 2 miles away if you can do the clumb to the top of the sand dune - well worth it.
Honeyman is a large state park with many loops of campsites. It is also alongside miles of sand dunes that are truly impressive to hike around on. It's a good hike all the way to the beach, but it's also fun just to simply climb a nearby sand hill. Sunsets over the dunes are well worth enjoying. There is another... 更多
We went to this park to sandboard and found the perfect section by the a lake to begin our adventure. It was idyllic. The combination of water, forest and sand made for an almost surreal visual background for us to have some fun outdoor time. The dunes were tall enough to get momentum going and a pretty good amount of... 更多
Honeyman is a bright gem among many Oregon campgrounds and parks that sparkle. Here's why: -watercraft variety, all small and human powered, for hourly rentals -sandy beach -dune to slide down -hiking trails -wooded campsights, choose any with both shade and sun -rustic snack bar with lakeside patio -summer evening entertainment -active summer kids ranger program -yurts and cabins with... 更多
Had a great experience at this park. We stayed 3 nights with a 31 FT RV and a tow vehicle. All of the full hookup sites were occupied, so we had to settle for water and electric (no big deal) . The park is clean, the sites are pretty level and are asphalt, the lake is near, the dunes are... 更多
This is our first visit here and we're already planning our return. The campsites are spacious and secluded with trees and rhododendrons. The campground is kept very clean and friendly rangers patrol regularly. The playground was wonderful for our grandchildren, and filled with happy kiddos this evening. We pull a 31' fifth wheel and our site was easy to back... 更多
Huge park and I wouldn't go again. No ocean access, limited trails. It's a mile hike to Clearwax Lake where you can fish or rent a boat. If you are into sand adventures, this would be a unique access opportunity. There's a mix of RV/hook up and tent sites, crowded and clean.
