So after looking at the amazing reviews for this trail, my husband and I decided to take a day to drive down from Portland for a long, scenic bike ride on a paved path. First off, since there is no parking at the main trailhead in Cottage Grove, we didn't want to park in town, so we decided to drive... 更多
My sis and I spent about two hours walking the path, felt safe, and the country is beautiful. I live in Cottage Grove, so it was a treat to show off what we have to offer. The local Frisbie Disk course is also near by.
The Row River Trail is a beautiful place to walk, bike, jog, etc. In the fall the leaves are so pretty! The oak trees, the small wildlife, the farm life that is near....it's just a wonderful place to take a nice stroll on a fall day!
This trail is awesome and scenic. I actually stopped in the parking lot to take a photo of the bridge and a photo of the covered bridge very close to the park. Next time I'm in town I will bring my bike so I can ride this beautiful trail!
This amazing trail winds along the rim of a lake. There are rest stops along the way. Multiple covered bridges that provide amazing photo opportunities!
The Row River Trail runs from Cottage Grove east towards and past Dorena Lake. There are several historic, covered bridges that are quite lovely along the way. The countryside and views of the bridges and lake are quite stunning. There is great trailhead parking, good signage, and the paved trail is well maintained. As you ride closer to Dorena Lake,... 更多
Great trail for riding a bike or walking. Beautiful location, goes out around Dorena Lake. You can park in numerous places along the trail so you can walk the section you want or start in various places. FYI, many people drive on Row River Road much too fast, so if you choose to drive out it to the lake area... 更多
My husband & I My husband & I started the ride in Cottage Grove. There is convenient parking right across the street from the trailhead. As we biked through the small town of Cottage Grove, we found the locals to be very friendly and considerate to the riders. We rode the well maintained 31 mile trail and was happy to... 更多
We often plan to stop here for a brisk walk. It is close enough to I-5 to make the effort worthwhile. It is an old railroad right of way that has a nice asphalt surface. Wear a hat on hot sunny days.
