We had fun but noticed that most of the animals were in need of enrichment. The bears, big cats and especially the chimps looked bored and confined. This is a simple fix, please provide adequate entertainment for the animals in your care. Thank you.
We expected a drive thru safari but the animals are in cages and you walk thru. The chimpanzee was very talkative and fun and you get to have hands on visits with the baby animals and other exotic animals which is fun. It's not very big but the animals seem well cared for and happy and there's a gift shop.
Myself and Grandaughter visited this sad safari park during Thanksgiving weekend. Being Oregonians the weather of course was rainy, windy and cold, that did not stop us. The price for getting in was a bit high. I wouldn't have a problem with the price if the park had reflected some of the money went towards sheltering these animals during our... 更多
If one enjoys to visit with animals up close, this is a great place. they have a petting portion, an area where you can hold baby animals, and an area where there are tigers and other big cats. A very pleasant time and would definitely recommend to visit if you are in the area.
It may have been the time of year that we visited, but we were disappointed not to be able to hold any of the feature animals. In fact, we couldn't even pet any of the larger animals. For the most part, there were a lot of sheep, deer, and goats to pet and feed - no different than any other... 更多
We were exploring north on 101 during a family vacation and came across the safari park. So happy we stopped. We all got to hold a baby bear (Clyde), as well as many other small animals. We saw a Tiger up close and clapped along with a chimpanzee. Wonderful and knowledgable staff as well.
I've been going to the West Coast Game Park Safari for years, and I love how the owners have worked to improve and upgrade it. I enjoy getting to meet the animals; I've made friends among the keepers over the years, and I enjoy talking with them about their knowledge of the animals. I think this is an attraction better... 更多
Coming here was definitely the highlight of our kid's beach vacation. They loved feeding the adorable wallabies and getting to pet a baby bear cub. I was a little concerned about the health of some poor chimpanzees and cages seemed a little cramped for the size of some of the animals, but maybe they're letting them roam in larger spaces... 更多
Everything I read about this place made it seem like you got to play with the animals. They advertise about being able to play with a tiger, which has been a lifelong dream of mine. That was such a wrong impression. They only had a baby cub, possum, and a ferret to actually hold. But who wants to hold something... 更多
This is our 3rd time to West Coast Game Park Safari (once with our kids when they were young & twice with our grandkids.) We love the animals, being able to walk among the tame animals, & petting animals that you normally don't get a chance to pet. We will definitely go again when in Bandon, OR.
